June 13
Hazel River Assembly of God, Rixeyville, will have “Friday Night Out” each Friday night. We invite all teenagers from grade 6 to 12 to come every Friday night from 3 to 9 p.m. for teens only. There will be free dinner provided. Call 937-6041.

June 14
Women’s Progressive Club will sponsor a Fun Fashion Show June 14 at 5 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church, Amissville.
Women’s Ministry Yard Sale at Open Door Baptist Church, 754 Germanna Hwy., from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rain or shine. 
Culpeper Baptist Church’s Saturday night service, “Overflow,” will be held in the church sanctuary beginning at 6 p.m., and will feature contemporary worship with praise music led by Justin Harding and a time of fellowship. Dave Wheatley, minister of youth, will have a communion message titled “Pass the Salt,” based on Matt. 5:13.
The Sunday morning contemporary service June 15 begins at 8:30 and a traditional worship begins at 11 a.m. Pastor Ted Fuson’s Father’s Day message at both services is titled “Father’s Greatest Sacrifice.” The scripture passage is Col. 3:21. Call the church office at 825-8192 for more information
Cedar Grove Baptist Church, 26255 Rapidan Road, Rapidan, June 14 from noon to 5 p.m. it will be having its monthly fundraising, drinks and a car wash. Come out and support this fundraiser. Call 825-2929.

June 15
Stephen Katz with Jews for Jesus will present “Christ in the Passover” at Open Door Baptist Church, 754 Germanna Hwy., Culpeper, at 6 p.m. on June 15.  Call 825-1549.
Free Gospel Church-Apostolic, Davis and East streets, Culpeper, will be having a Men’s Day service — you and your husband, father, brothers, sons, and as many males as possible need to attend this service June 15 at 11 a.m. Pastor Smith will be ministering concerning God calling men back to their original position. Culpeper United Methodist Church, 1233 Oaklawn Drive, invites the public to our Sunday morning services and Sunday school. We have a traditional service at 8 a.m., a contemporary service at 9:30 a.m., and a choir-led traditional worship at 11 a.m. For the month of June we will be discussing characters of the Old Testament. June 15 our sermon will be “Standing Small” with David. Scripture is I Samuel 17:31-51. Come watch our characters come to life.

Culpeper United Methodist Church, 1233 Oaklawn Drive announces Elizabeth Cumbest will be at Culpeper United Methodist Church on June 15. She will be performing several songs at our 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. services, and will share a concert at 9:30 a.m.
Woodland United Methodisst Church, Woodland Church Road, U.S. 522 N., Culpeper, invites the public to join us for our Sunday worship beginning at 11:15 a.m. Julie Lohr will deliver a message titled, “Moving Mountains.” Scripture from Mark 11:22-24. You may also hear the message at Jeffersonton UMC at 9 a.m. and at Oak Shade UMC at 10 a.m.
Craigs Baptist Church will begin its VBS Kick-Off June 15 at 9 a.m. We will start with about an hour of singing highlighted by the Calvary’s Hill Quartet out of Fayetteville, N.C. We will also be honoring all of the dads on this Father’s Day. Dress for this event is Hawaiian-oriented in honor of the VBS theme this year. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided for lunch. If you can’t make VBS Kick-Off Sunday, then we hope you can attend our Adult and Teen VBS on June 16-20 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. or our Kid’s VBS on June 23-27 from 9 a.m. to noon. June 15-20
Bethel Baptist Church, Route 609, Hoover Road, Reva, announces its Vacation Bible School will be held June 15 to 20, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. each evening. The theme will be “Blazing Trails with the Good News at Vacation Bible School Cactus Canyon.” Vacation Bible School for all ages. Children enjoy crafts, games, missions, and Bible study. June 16-20
Culpeper United Methodist Church, 1233 Oaklawn Drive, Culpeper invites the public to its vacation Bible school, June 16-June 20 from 9 a.m. to noon. Grades 3 years to six grades. Hey kids — join us for an exciting week at the “SonWorld Adventure Park.” We will play games, make crafts, learn some cool songs, learn more about Jesus and of course, eat snacks! You may pick up registration forms at the church or register online at culpeperumc.org.
The Antioch Baptist Church, 202 S. West St., Culpeper, announces its vacation Bible school will be held June 16-20 from 6 until 8 p.m. each evening. The theme will be “Chosen Champions For Jesus,” and ages 2 and up are welcome.
Rising Zion Baptist Church, Winston, announces its vacation Bible school will be held June 16 through 20 from 7 to 8:45 p.m. The theme will be “God’s Big Backyard.” Classes are for all age groups.

June 17
Kids Zone every Tuesday at Hazel River Assembly of God: Hazel River Assembly of God in Rixeyville, invites you to bring your kids for a night of fun. Hazel River Kids Ministry will watch your kids, ages 4 to 11 for free every Tuesday night from 5 to 8 p.m. in our activities center. We provide dinner, games and lots of fun activities in a safe environment. Parents can drop off the kids and have a night off. For more information call the church office at 937-6041.

June 21
Rev. Daniel “Danny” Johnson of Colonial Beach, (Madison County native) along with Gods Appointed of the Macedonia Baptist Church, Tappahannock, will be the special guests at Antioch Baptist Church, Madison on June 21 at 4 p.m.
New Salem Baptist Church will have a Luau for youth on Saturday, June 21 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. There will be lots of fun and fellowship. For more information contact Lynn Banks at 547-4863.
Community Christian Church, Route 637 (Shipps’ Store Road), beside Morrisville Dump site, will be having a Gospel music fundraiser night June 21. Doors will open at 5 p.m. Featured in Gospel music will be The Sheads Family. Free will offering at the door. Come and support this local need in your community, all benefits will support the building fund of the church that was burned to the ground in August 2006. Jeffersonton Baptist Church, 18498 Springs Road, Jeffersonton, announce their Vacation Bible School will start on Monday, June 23 and run through Friday, June 27 from 6:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. We will also have our kickoff picnic on Saturday, June 22 after the 11 a.m. morning service. Black Oak Regular Baptist Church, Route 729, Eggbornsville Road, announces the Rev.
