Women In Worship Conference 2008: Registration is now open for the Women In Worship Conference to be held in Fredericksburg, on September 26-27. The conference is sponsored by Wayland Blue Ridge Women’s Auxiliary and Friends.
The guest speaker is Cynthia Brazelton of Victory Christian Ministries, Washington, D.C., the Rev. Tammie Armstead Pulliam and the Rev. Janice Steels of Victory in Christ Ministries. Musical guests include Missy “Octavia” Yates and Psalmist Eric Armstead.

Hazel River Assembly of God, Rixeyville, announces that each Friday night it hosts”Friday Night Out.” We invite all teenagers from grades 6 to 12 to come every Friday night from 3 to 9 p.m. This event is for teens only. There will be free dinner provided. Call 937-6041.

The Culpeper Aglow Community Lighthouse will meet at St. Stephens Episcopal Church, downtown Culpeper, 115 N. East St., on July 26, starting at 10 a.m. Free child care is being provided. For more information call 825-6976.

The Chestnut Grove Baptist Church of Brightwood will celebrate the 12th Pastoral Anniversary of the Rev. Dr. Bernardo Snipes on July 26, at 4 p.m.
Our guest singers will bethe Rev. Frank Lewis Sr. and the Antioch Baptist Church Male Chorus, along with special guests “Nate and The New Generation” of Washington, DC. The Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Mass Choir of Brightwood will also sing.

Any donations are welcome and will be used for our teen mission trip.
The New Life Anonited Ministries West will be having a yard sale July 26 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 15532 Montanus Parkway, Culpeper, located behind Target and Staples.
Proceeds will benefit the building fund and the Charles Lake Scholarship Fund.

Culpeper Baptist Church’s Saturday night service, “Overflow,“ will be held in the church sanctuary beginning at 6 p.m., and will feature contemporary worship with praise music and a time of fellowship.
The Sunday morning contemporary service July 27 begins at 8:30 and a traditional worship begins at 11 a.m.

Antioch Baptist Church, Madison, announces its annual “Homecoming/Revival” will be held July 27 through Aug. 1. Services will begin at 11 a.m.

Hazel River Assembly of God in Rixyeville, invites you to bring your kids for a night of fun. The Free Union Baptist Church Vacation Bible School will be held July 29 through Aug. 2 along with other area churches from 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. Classes will be held for all ages. We will conclude the VBS with an activity day on Aug. 2 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. which will include a cookout, volleyball, swimming, relay races and much more.
