July 4
Hazel River Assembly of God, Rixeyville, announce each Friday night it will have “Friday Night Out.” We invite all teenagers from grades 6 to 12 to come every Friday night from 3 to 9 p.m. for teens only. There will be free dinner provided. Call 937-6041.
Culpeper United Methodist Church, 1233 Oaklawn Drive announce Friday night at the movies, July 11 in the fellowship hall. “One Night With The King”, Popcorn and drinks at 6 p.m., and the movie begins at 6:30. Bring your friends.

Culpeper Baptist Church’s Saturday night service, “Overflow,” will be held in the church sanctuary beginning at 6 p.m., and will feature contemporary worship with praise music led by Justin Harding and a time of fellowship. Dave Wheatley, minister of youth, will have the final part of a three-part series titled “Scrapbook,” based on Col. 3:13. The Sunday morning contemporary service July 6 begins at 8:30 and a traditional worship begins at 11 a.m. Pastor Ted Fuson’s message at both services is titled “Scrapbook: White Flag of Freedom.” The scripture passage is: Luke 6:37. Hazel River Kids Ministry will watch your kids, ages 4-11 for free every Tuesday night from 5 to 8 p.m. in our activities center. Culpeper United Methodist Church, Golden Friends invites the public to join a bible study involving watching classic episodes of “The Beverly Hillbillies” on Tuesday mornings, beginning this July 8, at 10 a.m. in the adult wing, room 204 (Betty Collins’s Room). These are used as modern parables on the teachings of Jesus.

The Pentecostal Outreach Church, 258 E. 41 St., Buena Vista, Va., announce its Seventh Virginia Southern Gospel July to 12 in Glen Maury Parl, starting Thursday and Friday at 6 p.m. and on Saturday at 5 p.m. Professional southern gospel singing groups will be performing. Culpeper United Methodist Church announces starting point class for those interested in joining the church or in learning more about their Christian faith will begin this July 9 at 6:30 p.m., and will continue on July 16 and 23. The class will be led by Pastor Randy Orndorff and our lay leaders.
