April 18
Relentless Youth Ministries of Hazel River Assembly of God in Rixeyville, invites all teenagers from grades 6 to 12 to come every Friday night from 3 to 9 p.m. to For Teens Only. There will be free dinner provided. Come and hang out with your friends. For more information call the church office at 937-6041.

Culpeper United Methodist Church is offering a senior ministry every Friday beginning April 18 from 10 a.m. until noon. Seniors from the local community are invited to come and bring games and snacks. The entrance is level with the parking lot in back of the church and rest rooms are wheel chair accessible. Come and bring your checkers, dominos, cards and snacks.

April 18-19-20
Crooked Run Baptist Church, Rapidan, will be having a revival at 7 p.m.  April 18 and April 19. Evangelist Roger Browning will be our special guest speaker. Services will conclude April 20 at 10 a.m. Special gospel music for each service includes “The Coachmen” of Staunton on Saturday night. The church will host a covered dish luncheon following the morning service on Sunday. Pastor Karl Hrebik invites the public. Call 829-9199 for more information.

Remington United Methodist Church will be sponsoring a spring community yard sale on April 26 (rain date May 3) in the church parking lot off 150 W. Bowen St., Remington, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Spaces (10-feet x 40-feet) are available for rent for $20 for early registration or $25 on the day of the sale and can accommodate one vehicle along with sale items. Registration forms must be prepaid and received no later than April 23. Spaces are limited and late or unfilled applications will be returned. Proceeds benefit the RUMC Sanctuary renovation. April 19
Wayland Blue Ridge Association will be holding a minister’s conference on April 19 at 3 p.m. at Antioch Baptist Church, Culpeper. Our special guest will be the Rev. Culpeper Baptist Church’s Saturday night service, “Overflow,” will be held in the church sanctuary beginning at 6 p.m., and will feature contemporary worship, praise music led by Justin Harding and a time of fellowship. Dave Wheatley, minister of youth, will have a Lord’s Supper message titled “Empty Chair,” based on Luke 15:11-24. The Sunday morning contemporary service April 20 begins at 8:30 and a traditional worship begins at 11 a.m. Pastor Ted Fuson’s message at both services is titled “Lead Me Not into Temptation: Personal Holiness and Evil” The scripture passages are Eph. 6:10-18 and Col. 3:5-15. Hopewell United Methodist Church, 23557 Lignum Road, Lignum, invites the public to its fundraiser and enjoy a Italian dinner. On April 19 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. we will have lasagna, chicken parmigiana, baked ziti, spaghetti, salad bar, deserts, and beverages, all for $10. April 20
The Little Blessings from St. Stevens Baptist Church will have its anniversary April 20 at 3 p.m.. There will be various singers. Lunch will be served immediately following morning service. Come out and help our children praise the Lord and have a blessed anniversary.

Canaan Baptist Church, 14494 Shanktown Road, Reva, invites the public to join us for our 112th church anniversary celebration on April 20 begininning with a 11 a.m. service. The Rev. Terry L. Brown, pastor, will be delivering the spoken words. Dinner will be served immediately following the service.  At 3:30 p.m. The Rev. Reese Washington, pastor Shiloh Baptist Church Brandy Station along with the Shiloh Men’s Chorus and Deacons will deliver the 112th anniversary devotion. Our guest speaker of the hour will be the Rev. Antonio M. Baker Sr., Pastor of Third Mount Zion Baptist Church, Caroline County. He will render the gospel words along with his choir, ushers and congregation.

Woodland United Methodist Church, on Woodland Church Road, Route 522 N. Culpeper, invites everyone to join us for our Sunday worship service beginning at 11:15 a.m. The Rev. Lynn Wilbur’s message will be, “A Good Look At God.” Scripture from John 14:1-14. You may also hear the sermon at Jeffersonton United Methodist Church at 9 a.m.

Oak Shade United Methodist Church, Route 229 N. Rixeyville, invites the public to join us for our Sunday service beginning at 10 a.m. The Rev. Barbara Jamieson’s message will be, “Prayer: Supplication.”

Hazel River Assembly of God, Rixeyville, invites the public to hear the ministering of Clearwater Master’s Commission April 20 at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. This group of students from Clearwater, Fla. will be presenting live music, dramas and percussion drum sets.  For more information call the church office, 937-6041.

Bible Baptist Church will be having “Friend Day” April 20. Special music will be provided by the Calvary Quartet, from Simpsonville, S.C. Services begin with Sunday School at 10 a.m., our service at 11 a.m. followed by dinner on the grounds and a special afternoon service at 2:30 p.m. For more information call 825-9518.

New Fellowship Christian Center will host a Youth Explosion Weekend on April 25 through April 27. On Friday night beginning at 7:30 there will be a Youth Talent Show at the church, located on Rt. 15 north of Orange.  Any youth wanting to participate must sign up by April 19.  First place prize will be $50. Saturday will be a day of fun at the Young Farmers Field in Madison (the fair grounds).  There will be praise and worship, games, music, prizes, basketball three-on-three, food, and words of encouragement for all ages. The day’s event will be from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.  Sunday’s service will begin at 10 a.m. at the church.  The Rev.
