March 13
 Lioness Flea Market and Craft event will take place March 29 from 8 a.m. until noon at the Locust Grove Middle School.  There will be a book sale, bake sale and food concession.  To reserve a space call 972-5398.  All proceeeds support the Benevolence Fund of the Lake of the Woods Lionesses.

High School Orientation: Culpeper County Public Schools will be hosting a rising freshmen parent/student orientation starting at 6:30 p.m. on March 13 in the Culpeper County High School auditorium. For more information, you may contact the CCHS guidance department at 825-8310.

Culpeper County Chamber of Commerce announces there will be a membership mixer March 20 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Sponsored by Culpeper Times, American Red Cross, Virginia's Staffing Choice and The Salvation Army at 102 N. The Jefferson Ruritan Club will be awarding the annual $1,000 Tommy Rosenberger Memorial Scholarship to a high graduate or other student toward their college, technical school or other continuing education expenses. Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services Board and Area Agency on Aging transportation services will not operate on March 14 in observance of a staff in-service.

March 15
Madison County Rescue Squad presents a Bluegrass concert March 15 beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the Madison County High School auditorium. Featured will be The Deanes and Mark Templeton and Pocket Change. Tickets in advance will be $12; at the door 15. Tickets sold at Jones Auto Parts, Madison; The Music Store, Ruckersville.

Community Easter egg hunt at Remington United Methodist Church, 150 Bowen Street, Remington, March 15 from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine.  All kids from toddlers through fifth grade are welcome.  We'll make crafts, play games, hear the Easter story and hunt for eggs.  Bring your basket and get ready for a fun-filled afternoon!  For more information call 439-2579.

The Culpeper County Public Schools Fine Arts Department  invites the public to attend this year's student art show, at the Depot, in celebration of Youth Art Month. Art exhibits from each school will be on display for viewing on March 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. and March 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday will include a reception with light refreshments and musical entertainment by the CCPS strings program.
