Upcoming Third Thursday acts announced
Got the wintertime blues- Cheer up - the 2008 Third Thursday Concert Series kicks off in less than three months. For the first time, Culpeper Renaissance is presenting four concerts, beginning a month earlier.
Here's who's coming:
May 15: Time Machine with opening act Eli Cook
June 19: Randy Waller & The Country Gentlemen with opening act Dark Hollow Bluegrass Band July 17: The Janitors
August 21: Maurice Williams & The Zodiacs
Other upcoming special events around Culpeper include:
April 18 to 20: Culpeper Remembrance Day commemorating the rich and varied history of Culpeper from the American Revolution to the Civil War. Featuring living history, exhibits, music and more.
May 2: Culpeper Fiesta at the Depot, featuring music by Los Inmigrantes, Latin American culture and food and lots of activities for children; sponsored by the Hispanic Committee of Culpeper.
May 3: Culpeper Day on Commerce and Davis streets, featuring music, food, vendors and more; sponsored by the Culpeper Ruritans.
