Get ready to spend the day rockin' at "A Taste of Music" festival of music and arts, presented by CCHS student Brett Jenkins. The festival will be April 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and will feature the CCHS step team and jazz band, JMU's female a capella group The BluesTones, Christian band Vortex, Rude Buddha, CCHS senior band RATH, A.O.N., piano-led band The Ryan Benyo Experience, acoustic master Aubrey Driggers, local guru David Leckie Gilmore, all-female Culpeper rockers KRUSH, and The Possum Ridge String Band, as well as various art displays. Tickets are $10 and benefit Culpeper Band Boosters, Windmore Foundation for the Arts and Parent-Rock Organization. The festival will be held at Culpeper County High School. Call 219-5067.

Wish you were on American Idol- Practice singing in front of your fans at Karaoke Night with Perry every Thursday in March at Pelham's Pub at the Inn at Kelly's Ford in Remington. For those who prefer to listen rather than perform, David Leckie Gilmore will play March 14 and 28, Ronnie Johnson will perform March 15, David Goodrich will play March 21, Craig Dodson is scheduled March 22 and Jon Fritz will play March 29.
